you are really clueless are you ? yes that is a big trade for a retail trader and I am talking as a former options broker and market maker ...

I guess it's not if you're doing way OTM options, buying or selling, but that's a fool's errand for sure if you don't know what you're doing.

30-40k options is 3-4MM shares. It's a big deal. In most names you can't get capital commitment from a bank for that size.

Sorry, there is obviously a misunderstanding - I meant 30-40K USD in options (around 1K options) 30-40K of options is insane for a retail of course. My mistake, sorry.
