Cannot connect to paltalk

I have 3 computers all on an adsl router connection to internet.
Recently I can't connect to www.paltalk.com on any of the computers. Is it a router probelem? I disabled firewall and antivirus software but that didn't help
 
Welcome to the club! :D Have you already tried to solve it by uninstalling, then reinstalling Paltalk on at least one PC?

Creating another user name is another thing to try that has worked for some.

Don't know what your specific issue might be, but I can tell you that Paltalk is one incredibly unreliable, flaky piece of... software, in my and others' recent experience. I've had the same issue, among others. With all their recurring problems, hard to believe they've gotten as big as they are among competing IMs.
 
in IE6 and firefox.

Hmm... so you can connect to other web pages, but not http://www.paltalk.com/ .

I am connected to it now in Firefox 1.5, so the problem does not appear to be with the website itself. The MS Knowledge Base for this error has a ton of solutions, but almost none of them address inability to access just a single site. I am no expert at this, but the one thing -- besides clearing your cache and restarting your browsers -- I would do is check your HOSTS file, if any. In Windows XP, it would normally be found under windows\system32\drivers\etc\ . If it's there, open it with Wordpad / Notepad and look for (Ctrl F) an entry for any variation of "paltalk". There shouldn't be one.
 
Ok it is now fixed. Have no idea why or how. I pulled out a few cables on my router and modem and plugged tham back in and it works. Bizarre.

Video porn? I thought it was mostly trading rooms. I'll have to explore..:D
