That is freaking hilarious.
My bet is that Pabst is laughing too.

Speaking of betting I need Louisville to win....
I'm not outraged at the obscenity. I'm a bit put off though that people would be irked at her being fired. If it's no big deal flipping off Bush than why the big deal over firing someone from a horseshit job. Nanny state, job for life bullshit.
I wish I could remember the details Doc because you'd love the story but some arb clerk in the Euro's said something rude to I believe Sen. Carol Mosley Fraud during a tour of the Merc and he was banished from the CME for life!
Then of course there was the CBOT guy who PUNCHED OUT some guy on the floor who was dressed in an ape suit or something for a charity drive. Also the nutcase bond options guy, John Murray, who was so pissed at losing a Cubs bet on a blown save by Randy Myers that he charged the freakin' mound and got his ass KICKED by Myers.
So I'd say, let Bush send the driver to Gitmo but she gets to keep her gig when she's out.

Bus driver fired for obscene gesture to Bush
Associated Press
Seattle â A school bus driver fired after she reportedly made an obscene gesture at U.S. President George W. Bush has filed a union grievance in an attempt to get her job back.
The 43-year-old driver, whose name was not released, was driving middle school children back to school after a zoo visit on June 16 when the president and Republican Representative Dave Reichert drove slowly by in a motorcade.
From the bus, the children waved; with the windows down in their car, Mr. Bush and Mr. Reichert waved back.
That's when the driver gave the president the finger, according to Mr. Reichert and Issaquah superintendent Janet Barry.
âThe congressman hadn't seen it, but the president turned to him and said, âThat one's not a fan,â' said Reichert spokeswoman Kimberly Cadena.
Mr. Reichert later called Ms. Barry to tell her about the incident, but the bus driver had already been fired. District officials learned about the incident after the driver boasted to colleagues about it, Ms. Cadena said.
District spokeswoman Sara Niegowski said the driver has filed a wrongful termination grievance through the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. The union did not return calls seeking comment.
Ms. Niegowski said the firing was not politically motivated.
âThe bus driver was not terminated for making an obscene gesture at the president. The bus driver was terminated for making an obscene gesture in view of the students,â Ms. Niegowski said. âThat's not the role modelling we need for our students.â

Looks like you're in high cotton with Louisville.
In my small world I think firing her is complete horseshit. Regardless if it's from a dogshit nowhere job. In fact, IMO, that's the only reason she was firedin the first place...because she had a dogshit job and her bosses felt as though this would be an easy politically correct fire. This would never happen to you or me.
She'll win easily on appeal.
While I agree that the nanny stat blows chunks, I'm not sure that school bus drivers are the problem sucking at the teat of the nanny state. Though I could be wrong. I'm inclined to believe that the problem lies with the teacher's union...verses the bus drivers guild.
Ugh...a Merc clerk banned for life for mouthing off to Mosely Braun....horrible.
Bush is just the president...he's not royalty. He's merely a citizen of the United States just as you and I are. Just because he won an election doesn't make him immune to the fellings and emotions of the American people.
Fuck him if he can't take the finger from a lowly bus driver citizen. He deserves much worse.
