Big ah gaps up in TLRY MJ CGC SNDL.... hot sector; I'm still long small size, will scale back in to swings at new highs... will also daytrade

I had a little $ in my old IB account so i bought pot stocks earlier eg TLRY @ $8 :D

i just tightened trailing s/l tlry sndl

wish id traded size in main accts like this

I got my butthole kicked in today jesus christ. Still in the green though and there is a chance this was just a shake out but if it continues downwards tomorrow I have to cut em free.

Cannabis stocks got stoned today..... I sold TLRY 68 SNDL 4.4 premkt for wins in my IB account, but took stops and am holding small size in fdly positions. Rebought small size eod since oversold imo today.

Please in now way is this a I told you so (because I don't trade em - stocks) but TLRY was a screaming sell today in retrospect ;). Look at yesterday's (Weds) daily bar. Long legged doji kinda looking bar. Nonetheless long lower wick shows a lot of buyers were filled. Then "they" gapped it lower on the open crushing all those longs from yesterday accelerating move down. Then there was TD Combo 13 at the high reinforcing it to start it off. Get em next time:-

  • IMO ...... In regards to the SNDL July $2 Calls I would hang on.
  • Murphy's Law states "Once an option position is closed the stock will rally without you".
