Candles and candles only

I knew that from the violent re-bound we had yesterday afternoon that today`s scan would be chock full o` hammers but not this many. Over 100 hammers in my master list!
Obviously I cannot post them all. So keeping with my theme of buying strong stocks on dips with the hammer as a reversal of that dip I will post a chart that is within those parameters.

In the case of AGN where there is a gap opening and no retracement to the previous day's high so far, how would you treat this?

And what amount above the previous day's high do you like to enter?

My stops are usually stop/limit orders on the open. The stop price is .01 over the previous high with a limit of .10-15. I am willing to take a little slippage to get the pop. Honestly though, most of the time I get filled within .05 of the price. I have learned that using stop orders only gives the specialist the "right" to fill you at the highest possible price. And limits only leave you in the dust watching the stock run away.

The theme for the day is high priced stocks are high for a reason.......and they keep going higher. That being said I will post a cheaper stock just to mix it up a bit.
