Mortgages and credit cards included, ...on a serious note, getting an education should not be that expensive...
Anyone with a functional moral compass wouldn't even offer such nonsensical classes let alone charge for them. Who are the administrators and professors of the institutions that dupe these young people? Leftists! Case closed.
Disagree. You're advocating that the person who got the benefit of the debt and spent the money is absolved from the responsibility of repaying the debt... and involuntarily forcing the payment of that debt upon somebody else who did NOT receive the benefit of spending the borrowed money.

Student loans are the main culprit for why higher education costs so much. The solution is simple, let it be discharged with a bankruptcy. That is it. If that passes, banks will be VERY VERY selective who gets the loans and who does not. Want to study BS - pay cash for it. It would also slow down education cost rise.

No need to go to a private 4 year college to get an education if you cannot afford it. That is why people are graduating with $80-$100k minimum in debt. Better personal choices in schools and majors helps.
We do need arts in society, but you don't need to go to Boston University to be an art major and borrow $150k. better choices leads to less debt and more financial responsibility
