A concerning training tool made its way from Goodyear's corporate headquarters in Akron, Ohio, to Topeka, Kansas, where some residents are furiously working to defund the police.
The training tool? A slide unveiling the company's new "zero-tolerance" policy against "Blue Lives Matter," MAGA Attire, and more.
What are the details?
A photo of the training slide in question has gained traction, and ended up at WIBW-TV in Topeka.
The outlet reported that Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company has a serious problem with supporting the police — or even supporting the president.
Acceptable notions, according to the company, include Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride (LGBT).
Unacceptable notions, however, include Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter, MAGA Attire, and Political Affiliated Slogans or Material.
The station reported that the slide was presented at the Topeka plant.
A Goodyear employee speaking on the condition of anonymity told the station, "If someone wants to wear a BLM shirt in here, then cool. I'm not going to get offended about it. But at the same time, if someone's not going to be able to wear something that is politically based, even in the farthest stretch of the imagination, that's discriminatory."
The employee added, "If we're talking about equality, then it needs to be equality. If not, it's discrimination."
'Committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace'
A spokesperson for Goodyear told TheBlaze, "Goodyear is committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace where all of our associates can do their best in a spirit of teamwork. As part of this commitment, we do allow our associates to express their support on racial injustice and other equity issues but ask that they refrain from workplace expressions, verbal or otherwise, in support of political campaigning for any candidate or political party as well as other similar forms of advocacy that fall outside the scope of equity issues."
Assuming slide is legit because "the blaze", why do cons hate capitalism and private enterprise?
If I don't like the actions, service, product, or policies of a private enterprise I am free to not buy anything from them. Welcome to how capitalism works.
Good to know that you're ok with the president bullying free enterprise if you disagree with said enterprise's views, instead of remaining impartial and representing all of America's interests.

Pretty easy considering every single one of these companies absolute dogshit. Shop brands that don't need to be Woke For Profit and you'll get better products. A perfect example is Harley Davidson, which hasn't even produced a motorcycle in America in YEARS and the motorcycles they produce are so objectively bad on every single measure of performance you'd be stupid to buy. Michelin tires are lightyears ahead of goodyear garbage. Have fun sorting through thousands of blackhat SEO'd Chinese products on Amazon to find the good one you actually need.

We don't live in a libertarian paradise and this isn't "free enterprise". This is discriminatory (banning White Lives Matter or Blue Lives Matter) and could likely open them up to legal hot water with existing discrimination law. If you don't believe banning clothing with "White Lives Matter" on it is discrimination the answer is simple - you don't believe white lives actually matter. See, the discrimination case writes itself. The power of highly manipulative "feel good" movement names!

The President should be promoting American business as part of "promoting America's interests" and staying clear of debating their actions unless the corporate activities impact national security.
I... as an individual however.... am free to make my own decisions if I desire to support a business.
Just make up your mind already, Cancel culture is either good or it's not, what's with your selective principles.

Well, I guess in the future companies are not going to be stupid enough to antagonize half of their customer base taking sides in an unwinnable political position. It is extremely stupid for companies to go loonie liberal and it needed to be stopped.
