Oakland, CA is initiating a UBI program... WHITES NOT ELIGIBLE! That's about as racist as can be!

How is it that only white people can be "officially" racist?

I think it is a private funded initiative, so it isn't actually a government program. Still racist, but they're not going to care about it.

Yes, I think so.

If it's privately funded, shouldn't it be done "privately" as they want and not make a public point of telling the world, "whites not eligible"? Yet... they want whites to bend over backwards to not be racist in their eyes?

When you're the majority. The majority that has oppressed minorities, and have committed atrocities against minorities, and continue to maintain systemic racism ... yeah ... you are not judged under the same light as the minorities that have been harmed over the generations.

The reasoning is that in order to attempt to reverse hundreds of years of entrenched racism, proactive measures need to be established: Affirmative action, for example.

When the day comes that all racists say, "I'll no longer be racist," and mean it; when the playing field is level, without intervention. Then you'll have a valid point.
 
Whites: We can kill you anytime we want and you are not allowed in our colleges, schools and clubs.

Blacks: well then we will have to form our own colleges and clubs so that we are no longer oppressed

Whites: you are racist!
