And to be honest the image is not so outright racist as it is an o utdated image of a culture that was prevelant almost 100 years ago... somethings need to be updated and getting rid of that image is not a bad thing...like you all ever gave a fuck about that book anyway.

Adn the "complaint" argument is funny. We have seen racits ask incredulously, "Why didn't Black people complain about blackface bakc in the 1930s??" because you were hanging them for accidentally looking at a white person the wrong way, why would they stand up and complain about mistreatment...

Its removal came after authors Mo Willems, Mike Curato and Lisa Yee co-signed a letter calling for its removal. They described the imagery as “a jarring racial stereotype of a Chinese man, who is depicted with chopsticks, a pointed hat, and slanted slit eyes. We find this caricature of ‘the Chinaman’ deeply hurtful, and have concerns about children’s exposure to it.”

I will agree you finally found one Chinese person complaining. Now what about the 1.4 Billion.

Maybe you can convince them to stop publishing the book in Chinese.

don't make demands if you want to welch but then call DeSantis out for continuing to change the narrative haha
