Former President Donald Trump has repeatedly decried “cancel culture,” but on Thursday night, he proved once again that he’s one of its biggest practitioners.

Trump released an angry statement decrying a number of Republican figures for being disloyal to him and called on Fox News to ditch longtime contributor Karl Rove, who he labeled a “RINO.”

“Karl Rove is all talk and no action!” Trump wrote. “Fox News should get rid of Karl Rove and his ridiculous ‘whiteboard’ as soon as possible!”

Trump was apparently triggered by a Wall Street Journal column in which Rove criticized the former president’s CPAC speech as “divisive, controversial and embittered.”

The bill, introduced into the Utah Senate last month by staunch anti-porn crusader Wayne A. Harper, is now headed to the Governor’s desk to be signed into law.

On February 19, the Utah House of Representatives passed an amended version of the controversial bill that would mandate a default “porn filter” on any phones, computers, tablets or any other electronic devices sold in the state starting in 2022.

HB 72, sponsored by Rep. Susan Pulsipher (R-South Jordan) — a realtor with no technology experience — was speedily passed by the House only hours after it had cleared the committee stage by the narrowest of margins (a 6-5 vote).

Members of Utah trade associations, tech company lobbies and free speech groups all advocated against HB 72.

If passed, the mandatory filters — from which for-profit, faith-based software companies have been profiting for some time — would have to be activated by default in 2022 if certain additional conditions, attached to the bill as an amendment, are met.

According to analysts, international manufacturers of phones and computers like Apple or Google could face civil liability if they don't comply.

There were no coordinated effects made to follow through
It like me saying that Here4money should be removed...If I do nothing beyond that then it is nothing like cancel culture

Not to mention most of these so call "cancel culture" incidents are nothing more than righties getting triggered when someone calls for the firing or boycott of the perceived offenders. The party doing the firing/sponsoring is under no obligation to follow through. It's exactly the same shit except Trump once carried the weight of the presidency, an army of yes men bootlickers he appointed in government, and a fanatical base when doing it.
