Here are my responses to the debate as you've framed it.The irony is that liberals consider a completely subjective opinion that is stated on TV or written in a article a source as though it is a fact.
Furthermore, I can only assume that you think that MSNBC, CNN, and FOX should shut down. A majority of the programming on MSNBC and CNN are opinion shows. People on those channels express opinions all day everyday without any sources. However, a subjective opinion without source that is expressed on MSNBC is a source?
Funny is an opinion. No source needed as I'm not alleging that you'll find it funny. It goes to my state of mind. No one can prove to another their state of mind over the internet.Do you have a source for that?
That is a great illustration of the issue with liberals in general. Liberals don't seem capable of discerning what are facts and what are opinions. You are listening and reading opinions, however, you are assuming that they are news and/or facts.I disagree about MSNBC and CNN being mostly opinion pieces.

In the Pew Research sample, two of the three major cable news channels had a fairly even distribution of airtime devoted to opinion and to newsgathering. CNN was the only one to feature more reporting (54%) than opinion (46%) overall. At the Fox News Channel, the split leaned toward moderately more opinion (55%) than reporting (45%).
On MSNBC, however, the mix of news and commentary skewed heavily in one direction. Fully 85% of the channel’s airtime in the period studied was devoted to opinion. Only 15% of its programming was filled with reporting.

First of all, that is a completely false equivalent. I think that you know that.
Secondly, I am not sure you understand the definition of censure.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/what-does-it-mean-to-censure-a-politician
- An expression of strong disapproval or harsh criticism.
- An official rebuke, as by a legislature of one of its members.
- To express strong disapproval of or criticize severely, especially in an official capacity: synonym: criticize.
Censure is a formal disapproval that can be adopted by one, or both chambers of Congress. Unlike impeachment, censure is not a power provided by the Constitution, said Gregory Magarian, a professor of law at Washington University in St. Louis. The House and Senate have adopted internal rules that allow them to draft and approve a censure resolution, which provides a public record disapproving of an official’s actions. Such a resolution is a rebuke, but does not carry any material punishment like removal from office.
Righties are a little more comfortable using the government to do so. Lefties are just using capitalism/boycotts.The point is both parties want to silence or attack any speech they don't agree with. Claiming it is just one party shows bias and having a closed mind.
The GOP wants to cancel as many people that they dont agree with as the left does so wake up.
‘Mr Potato Head is cancelled’: Twitter users react as toy goes gender-neutral!

Hasbro has removed the gender from its Mr Potato Head brand, and social media users aren’t happy that the toy has been ‘cancelled’ because of its gender.
In 1952, Hasbro launched Mr Potato Head, and it has since become an iconic children’s toy. You originally had to supply your own potato and buy a set of body parts to customise it which cost $0.98.
On Thursday, Hasbro announced that its Mr Potato Head is having a rebrand and becoming gender-neutral, revealing that they are dropping the ‘Mr’ from its title.
Now, social media users are saying that Mr Potato head has become a victim of cancel culture, and they aren’t happy about it.
Toymaker Hasbro announced on Thursday (February 25th) that it would be dropping the word ‘Mr’ from the Mr Potato Head brand to make “all feel welcome in the Potato Head World”.
As reported by CNN, the company said:
“Hasbro is making sure all feel welcome in the Potato Head world by officially dropping the Mr. from the Mr. Potato Head brand name and logo to promote gender equality and inclusion.”
The toys will now just be known as ‘potato head’ and the change will appear on boxes later this year.
