Canadians are a bad bunch, including Ted Cruz

By now we all know Ted Cruz was born Canadian. He held Canadian citizenship till at least 2013. This shows a strong allegiance to Canada.

Most Americans don't know what Canadians celebrate. Did you know that according to Canadians, they came to the United States, uninvited, and burned down the White House. Canadians celebrate this. Americans celebrate defeating the Nazis, Canadians celebrate a terrorist attack they launched on the White House. How can we elect a person who is Canadian as President. Can Ted Cruz explain why he feels like he is one of these people?

Well we did go up and burn York - the capital of Canada at the time (now named Toronto) - before they came down and burned Washington in revenge.

and Canadians do not celebrate the burning of D.C. - it was the U.K government (not Canada) that got in trouble recently for tweeting and celebrating about the burning of D.C.

Go to Canada and ask them about it. It is one of their proudest moments in history. Then again, they are Canadians so they don't have a whole lot to be proud.

Imagine Ted Cruz being part of a country that had a monarchy. He ought to be embarrassed.

I'm in Canada. I just asked about it and most don't know what I'm talking about when I mention the burning of DC during the War of 1812. It's not a big thing up here.

It wasnt Canada that burned down the White House.
Canada wasn't officially a country till 1867.
