Ottawa is going to actively hunt down every single one of the "freedum convoy" protestors and put a hurting on them. They plan to hold every single occupier liable with criminal charges and financial penalties.

OTTAWA — Downtown Ottawa seemed eerily calm Sunday after the tumult of weeks of occupation, but as the last of the protesters headed away from streets now controlled by police, they were warned criminal charges could follow them home.
“If you are involved in this protest, we will actively look to identify you and follow up with financial sanctions and criminal charges,” Ottawa police tweeted Sunday. A day earlier, interim Police Chief Steve Bell was asked whether police would continue to go after those protesters who had remained in Ottawa, even if they chose to go home at some point.
“The simple answer is yes,” he said, adding the investigation would go on for “months to come.”
“You have my commitment that that investigation will continue and we will hold people accountable for taking our streets over,” Bell said

As a result, Trudeau’s 32.2 per cent share of the popular vote represents only 5.2 million Canadians. This means that of the roughly 30 million Canadians of voting age, only about one in six cast a Liberal ballot.
You will note that Canadian Conservatives such as Doug Ford strongly support cracking down on the "Freedom Convoy". In fact what Doug Ford did in Ontario & Toronto is used as a model across Canada on how to block & eliminate these type of "trucker" occupations.
Gotta admit, I don't know how the Canadian Parliament works.
In the UK if enough of the government registers their discontent, via some kind of official letter, a vote of confidence can be triggered and it can result in the removal of the PM and potentially a national election.
Canada is different. I'm watching Parliament right now while I'm eating lunch. Seems like there are plenty of MPs supporting the Emergency Act.
