Canadian Politics: Stephen Harper's footprint

Just saw an Ignatieff commercial today that said "The liberals want to put your tax dollars to better use, in areas such as....... blah blah blah PUBLIC PENSIONS blah blah blah... I was astonished by the brazenness of the whole thing.... though atleast they are honest about buying votes from the public sector, in exchange for raising already bloated public pensions.

Quote from Kassz007:

But the Liberals are slavish to their own economic "theory". Tax and spend. This theory is no more proven than any other theory, and is no more than an excuse to benefit the unproductive members of society at the expense of the productive members.

I agree with you on the Liberal agenda regarding more environmental awareness. Although I don't agree with Iggy's carbon tax scheme. Not sure what you mean by a more comprehensive social conscience. If you are referring to abortion and gay marriage, Harper has already insisted he won't touch it.

Please try to know what you are talking about. He was referring to CPP, which is for ALL Canadians.
