Canadian Liberals set themselves up for another ass whipping.

Quote from Hello:

Imagine what he could have accomplished if he didnt have to try to appease the NDP, and the Liberals this whole time.

Like i said before, if we could ever get rid of the Bloc, or get rid of quebec all together, Canada would flourish. The bloc holds 50 out of 70 (something) seats right now, if the conservatives had won 1 third of those seats, or if Quebec was no longer a part of Canada, then Canadians would be far better off. Quebec has held the rest of Canada hostage for far too long and look where it has gotten us, all they have done is rack up a massive debt on the rest of Canada. The bloc won 10% of the popular vote last election, but they hold 17% of the seats, and the country inevitably gets steered in the direction they want every single time.

Well, I personally would not like to see Quebec seperate, but I agree with most of the other comments in this post.

The Bloc are leaches, and dangerous to this country. The Liberals and NDP are socialist money suckers and notorious wasters (not to mention corrupt - see the Gomery report). The only viable alternative? Conservative. Harper for majority in 2011!

The other day you were implying that the conservatives were the ones who blew up the deficit in Canada, now you are saying that Harper has essentially done nothing substantial while being prime minister. So then given the fact that Canada came out of this recession in the best shape out of any country in the world would you now concede that government internvention has been bad for the rest of the G7 countries?

Things brings up another gripe I have with the opposition parties. Iggy and Layton DEMANDED the government pass stimulus into the '09 budget. When Harper relented, in the interest of working together with the other parties, the opposition at the time claimed the stimulus spending was NOT ENOUGH.

Fast forward to today, and the opposition now complains that Harper has got us into the debt situation we are in today. Think about this...

Yeah, i wish Harper would have had some backbone and simply said no to the stimulus spending altogether, as it has been proven to be nothing more than a liberal slush fund in all the other G7 countries in the world.

Im curious as to why you still want Quebec to remain a part of Canada though, as they have been nothing but an anchor to the rest of Canada for the past 2-3 decades. Im tired of such a small segment of the population having so much control over the rest of Canada, and it isnt even just about them having control, its about them being ungrateful fucking assholes while they basically rape the rest of the country. There are a few good people i have met over the years from Quebec but they are vastly outnumbered by the anti-canadian assholes who live there that believe the rest of Canada should simply succomb to their beliefs.

Sounds just like our US liberals.

I'm liking this Kassz007 fellow more every minute.

Quote from Kassz007:

...Do you not find it disturbing that Iggy is willing to head a coalition of socialist parties, including the Bloc who want to seperate from Canada?
Are you being intentionally daft? How do you think Harper came into power?

Well, then, perhaps his blockbuster deficit would be his most substantial accomplishment. But don't take my word for it. Do the chronology yourself.

...2. Harper has performed exeptionally on the one item that matters - the economy...
The way Reagan did, so long as you don't look at the other side of the balance sheet?

So tell me which spending bills Harper was responsible for, that added to the deficit with no support from the liberals.

Also do you then give Harper credit for running the strongest economy in the G7 during this time of recession?
