Things are developing rapidly in Toronto. Tons of people getting fully vaccinated every week now, level 1 ( eg outdoor dining, ... ) starts Friday ahead of schedule, level 2 21 days later. Which includes outdoor team sports so I expect to be playing in July. As I mentioned before our streets never closed and I've noticed the playgrounds are full of kids on my walks. The nice weather doesn't hurt.
The contrast between what is occurring here and what the trolls are posting on the site is astonishing. I'll get my second shot next week was a little late getting on the registration site ( huge numbers of people getting processed it's quite the roll out ). So time to block the worst trolls again I've lost interest in their extreme negativity about life. TreefrogTrader in particular took things to a disgusting level.
We're saving those tests for Americans speaking badly about Canada. That's what we mean by open borders

I can tell you that removing the restrictions is something to look forward to. Lots of people hesitant in the first week or so here where I am in the US but things are mostly back to normal now. It really is a great feeling to have a lot of this behind us. So much sickness and death was awful. It’s nice to see things safe and people happy again.

If I lived in your area though I would still want to keep my mask on just to protect myself from breathing the same air in the room with people from New Jersey even if I am a New Yorker. Might even double mask. Has nothing to do with the virus.

Youre just jealous. New Jersey is in the top 5 in health, life expectancy, wealth, education. Also bottom five for violent crime. Trust me we are glad you don’t live in the area.

And when I lived in Maine I never heard anyone say "Gee, I think we need to have more people from New Jersey move here."
I would be willing to give New Jersey back to the Brits, maybe even throw in a few kegs of rum to sweeten the deal a little. Although, my great....g.g.g.g father was with Washington's troops at Morristown, Trenton, etc. so I cannot be too cavalier about giving it back.
Yep, salmon are running where I live. The mountains and rain forests are stunningly beautiful. But I wish I could go to Newark this weekend. NOT.
Maybe the life span is longer there in New Jersey - I don't know- if you call that a life.
Enjoy! I could never acclimate to the outdoors life. Some people like the hustle and bustle and others not so much. It’s a great country but I know exactly where I am and my location affords a great amount of opportunity and some of the highest quality of life in the country.
