Canada’s covid-19 second wave is a humbling moment after a summer of bragging

Skiing, winter hiking, winter camping, snowmobiling and all the wonders that winter brings...

It's the most active time for me. I tend to leave Canada for travel early-summer and return back in the early fall (kids have school). Do not want to miss the first snow fall or first white out blizzard. :D

Reality check, here in Toronto this weekend it's the same weather as Houston, a little warmer then Miami, and far warmer then San Diego. High yesterday was 33 degrees, it's currently 31 degrees. We've had the A/C on for two months. We went to 31 degrees several times around a month ago.

This TreeFrogTrader guy may be the dumbest guy on this site.

Meanwhile, out in the real world, the United States of America remains the top destination for immigrants in the world BY FAR.

False. Canada caps it's immigration but still had a higher rate then the US pre-Covid in recent years. Canada is an extremely popular destination for those we allow in ( mostly family members of existing Canadians, people who ca contribute in a meaningful way to society here, and some refugees ).

Shame on Canada. Shame. Bottomfeeding at the depth of pandemic and trodding over the bodies of the more vulnerable populations. To take vaccine from the Indians while they are dying is like putting on a dress so that you can get into the lifeboats with the women. Then to crow about their vaccination rate when Americans and Indians gave up vaccine for them. Bottomfeeders.

***SHAME***

No shame on you, you degenerate fucked up piece of shit. Quit your lying and whining.

..l.. .

I was born in the port town of Marseilles, France. Although I visited the grandparents often in the summer in a nice town outside of Marseilles, I was never a fan of the beaches in the area.

I often imagine nice beaches as too much of a tourist attraction...sometimes crowded.

Yet, quiet / almost remote beaches with blue waters like that in your video...worth a visit in my opinion but couldn't trade from there...too much of a distraction.

Says @ninefeetunder, who happens to know very few people in Canada besides his bubble of totalitarian government fans.
Besides I suspect much more people are looking at Spain than Canada as a retirement or holiday destination, can't say canadian lifestyle appear especially atractive to most.
Remove english language from the equation and it becomes even less atractive.

God your delusional. You know who likes Canada ? Professionals, especially those with young families, people of substance. Spain is just one in a long line of countries one can vacation at and not a top notch destination in that list. The Canadian lifestyle is extremely attractive to many people, especially as the US descended into a mess of social unrest with all sorts of new unattractive features since 2008. Here in Toronto, the city has forecasted strong growth until the year 2050 if not longer. We literally can't house everyone coming in.

I've lived in Canada over 50 years met hundreds of thousands of Canadians in my life. I am Canadian to the core. And if you were smarter you'd realize Canadians don't take shit from anyone. Not only are we fiercely patriotic and well educated, we are tough as nails. If you were truly aware of the sports world you'd know this. Check out the life expectancy numbers we are a far fitter nation then the Americans are,

Lol, you ain´t no GSP wrinkled sweetheart, nor your government and the kind of cowards who support police enforced lockdowns. It is beyond ridiculous to associate Tough as Nails with the Cowering Chicken policies adopted in Canada.
Fighters have been so grossly harmed during lockdown, plus on a daily basis face things so much riskier than covid, if u did actually hung out in such scene, you would know it is largely and fiercely anti lockdown.
All your tough boy game consists of rubbing your lips on the nearest government enforcer dick. Give me a break.

Fuck you're dumb. It's the weak ass guys like you that are cowards, unable to withstand the pandemic without whining about it nonstop for a year. Yes, I know you are obsessed with "Fighters", even in that areas Canada has had no shortage of champions throughout recent history. From a population of 30-40 million people.

Sorry I don't hang out in your scene. But I've been involved in sports my whole life sometimes competitively and I still compete in open age categories at an advanced age. I've never seen a government enforcer during this pandemic. Guess they aren't out much in Toronto. I don't doubt there are guys in the gym you may lock lips with. Not my scene though. Don't worry, I have no problem with gay men one of the toughest muscular guys I know a past teammate of mine was gay.

Yes, online checkers looks like your kindda scene, sounds safe enough for Tough as Fails chickens like u.
Obviously I do face folks from the Law Enforcement scene, and almost daily so. I do train with several cops and soldiers, who flout without remorse the ongoing covid regulations to train the way we do (there´s no law enforcement whatsoever of covid regulations in the sports scene in Madrid to be fair, and not much in any other scene here, although a bunch of places have opted to more or less loosely follow the rules - I try to stick to those that haven´t). There´s actually a bunch of tough guys in the enforcement ranks, it takes this on top of propaganda to hammer rules into the population.
Although with folks who´ve lost most of their humanity like u, a bit of propaganda is more than enough.
