The population of Canada is 37.59 million. If we go with your absurd concept of letting the COVID run wild through Canadian society then at a 2% Case Fatality Rate -- Canada would have 751,000 people dead right now. Instead Canada only has a 23,583 deaths from COVID currently due to doing their best to follow some semblance of proper public health policy in a pandemic. Florida's under-counted COVID deaths is currently 34,329 -- despite Florida's comparatively smaller population Fortunately some governments are smart enough to not follow stupidity from COVID deniers.

And BTW -- the COVID infection, hospitalization, and death rate for nurses and doctors on the front line of COVID is well above the general population worldwide.

Canada was ranked #1 country in a recent "Best Country" survey. I couldn't think of a better place to deal with Covid. "Police state" lol who do you think you are kidding ? There is far more police presence in the US then Canada. Young Americans getting shot regularly by your police still. Why is that ? If America is so great why are there Kyle's with military style weapons shooting people and 13 year olds getting shot by police with their hands up ? That's some country you have there.

No masks no lockdowns no distancing.
Approximately 8,000 Covid deaths in a population of 10,500,000.
Ontario puts in draconian measures, on and off, all year long. Roughly same deaths (14.4M population).

Sweden had no lockdowns until recently. They have only had 2 waves.
