Canada’s covid-19 second wave is a humbling moment after a summer of bragging

1. Here was your original quote before you changed it.

"The recent outbreak in Ontario has been directly linked to younger to middle aged adults catching the UK variant while out and about. And many are more critically ill and some dying in age groups the deniers on here would suggest won't ever happen. Our schools have actually been mostly open throughout but the UK variant changed things now."

3. Then the lie... by nine morons...

" I never said young people are dying like crazy here. What I said is they are filling our hospitals when last year almost none of them were in those age groups. Don't shoot the messenger it's a daily news story here and it is the reason they closed the schools."

You seem unable to comprehend what was said. All you've done here is highlight you have troubles reading English.

But they argue that their covid "has Canadian values."

So it's all good. OR NOT.

One of the problems that Canada has is that Quebec only marginally acknowledges Ottawa as the capital of their country. Their country being Quebec. So the stupid decisions made in Ottawa and Toronto that have negative impact in Montreal and Quebec City only feed into the long lingering separatist sentiments that flare up and then die down and then flare up from decade to decade.

The fake forum canadians like to sing kumbaya and make it look like it is only those trumpy knuckdragging Americans who have problems with insurrection and that Canada has had no problems with division and uprising. Reallly. Ask Primie Minister Tinkerbell why his daddy rolled out the tanks in Montreal when he was in power. So in addition to the general unrest about covid in general, the protests in Montreal and QC have some different or additional atmospherics compared to Toronto and Ontario in general.

Quebec sentiment to separate has diminished significantly since 30-40 years ago. In fact, it would likely be economic suicide for the residents of Quebec to make such a choice now. In fact, one thing Trump did was send a message to the world that some solidarity has to exist just in case the US goes rogue under a fascist leader again.

You can try all you want to paint a picture about Canada but the reality is almost any third party study puts quality of life in Canada equal or higher then the US. Canadians choose our value system not the American one. As hard as it is for you to understand it, most of us could not stand the thought of living in the US for an extended period of time. Trump has only further cemented that.

Like the dummy you are you keep talking about "fake Canadians" which is one of the more absurd theories on this site bar none. I like many other very real long term Canadians would certainly set you straight on this in person in a very Canadian way. And maybe it's not what you think there buddy.

You have a very abusive relationship with truth and facts and you can't stand them.

That all sounds good until one looks at your posting history and sees how you react to truth and facts. Delusion runs deep with you. Not surprising that part of that delusion is you think everyone else is lying unless they agree with your wacky theories. Trump was the same way.

I'm not going to run errands for you to get more data for you to ignore or dismiss for largely irrelevant reasons. I told you in April 2020 we were handling Covid better then you were in the US. A year later that is still the case by a wide margin. Vaccine rollout is the only area that the US has done better then Canada, and we can fix that.

I don't blame all Americans for the disaster that was 2020 in the US. However, those that voted Trump in and stood by him during his lunatic policies I do blame. People got what they deserved by taking this route.

Are you still denying you changed your quote...
and then denied you said the young were dying in Ontario?

Yes or no?

Uh oh.

The Canadians have been robbing third world countries to get vaccine supplies and that has worked a bit, but now India is in such rough shape that they are starting to keep more of the vaccine in-country to take care of their own people first- RADICAL!!!!

Not to worry. The Canadians are circulating their begging bowls far and wide. The J and J supply is looking a little shaky in the short run too, eh?

Oh, the shame. Canadians can't take care of their own needs and have developed nothing in the way of a vaccine to contribute to the world during this crisis. But if they had developed a vaccine we know it would have been better than the American ones and would have Canadian values built into it. Except they did not do squat and are merely beggars on the world stage.

Shame. No scientific talent and robbing third world supplies. If maple syrup or mooseshit cured covid then they would be in good shape. Otherwise, not so much.

Now for some facts and history...

Remember the dumb Hydroxychloroquine cultists who claimed that HQX magically was wiping out COVID in India's largest slum, Dharavi, back in July of 2020.

Interesting to note that the Dharavi slum became a major epicenter of COVID cases and deaths in India after July of 2020.

I see. Trump is responsible for slum area having a covid surge in Jul 2020, which is responsible apparently for a country wide surge this year which leads to them needing more vaccine, and leads to them not being able to supply Canada.

Fucking Trump. Still killing Canadians. If only they had a Prime Minister or something that could take care of their country.

Yeah... maybe if Trump was not pimping Hydroxychloroquine and focused on a proper public health response to the pandemic then the U.S. and world would have had better results.

Alright, the thread is about Canada, but when nothing much is going on in Canada, which is most days, the default is to throw some Trump stuff in.

The Canadians like that. That's what they do too.

Might be better if they focused on developing a vaccine and containing their own pandemic. In regard to developing a vaccine or covid treatments, they attempted nothing so they made no mistakes.
