Canada’s covid-19 second wave is a humbling moment after a summer of bragging

...I really am conflicted as to whether to confront some of these idiots or not. I don't think what they are preaching should be allowed to go unopposed but it's obvious they aren't operating on a full deck right now either.

There are Covidiots in the United States and Canada.

Other countries have laws in place about Covid misinformation / disinformation and those countries aggressively go after folks for posting bullshit about Covid because they recognize its a threat to the countries health (e.g. Singapore, Thailand, South Africa).

Last year, Canada was considering doing the same to although I'm not sure what ever happen. Yet, I do remember all the parties discussing a possible law in their parliament debates.

After awhile, it gets old and boring in calling out the Covidiots. You should notice that whenever there's a big Covid news (vaccines / spikes / lockdowns / restrictions)...they get unglue a little and thinking they're doing something important in attacking Canada...

P.S. All the Canadians I know at this forum have all been vaccinated...a few fully vaccinated. I'm still waiting for my turn to get the 1st shot. I think its a conspiracy because I immigrated to Canada from United States / France.

My point, Canadians not afraid of the jab and I don't see any news alerts about Zombies running around at the vaccination sites.

Canada didn't fail. You can claim it all you want but the numbers are clear the US has been running triple the numbers of Canada all winter. I have no idea what you think a "lock down" is but Ontario has been less locked down then huge chunks of the US since last fall. Most schools were open MORE then most US schools. What we closed were things like indoor dining and gyms. The stuff you whine about a lot because you are a selfish prick; yes we get that part you are consistent.

Long before Covid Jem posted a lot of bs about health care and in the end I just had to think he deserves the insurance premiums and deductibles. That's what a nation has to live with when they can't acknowledge reality and lean in on poorly though out political beliefs for decades.
