Meanwhile, Florida continues to have far worse Covid numbers then Canada. Damn, reality is a shame isn't it ? But you do worry about the quarantine hotels in Canada. I'd be more concerned about the all the extra people you are killing down there during Covid but priorities I guess.

Meanwhile, Toronto real estate is up 15% year over year. Rather "humbling" to us home owners we were hoping for 20% :) ?????

Not to worry Canada. No one helps more of the lesser developed countries around the world than the U.S. so we expect to be helping you as well.

Expect to be receiving shipments of one of the Trump vaccines before this is over.

Maybe you just had a bad day. Let's look at yesterday :

Canada 28 dead, 2714 new cases
Florida 139 dead, 7179 new cases ( !!!! )

Holy fuck, you are still killing people down there. And you're worried about how well some international traveller's arriving in Canada are eating in quarantine ? Here's an interesting observation; they aren't dead. Oh, but I know, you need your indoor dining and get togethers even as vaccines are rolling out. That is like going hand to hand combat in the last days of WW2. Pointless and fucking stupid. Like most of the posts on this thread.

Not sure how this fellow was prioritized for vaccine in a country that has little or no vaccine versus others who should be higher up, but hey, it's Canada. It's woke to prioritize "certain groups" and collect your woke points for doing so. Nevermind if grandma or a First Nations real Canadian goes without while waiting for more vaccine from a developed country, or waiting for vaccine units robbed from the supply for third world countries.

Kind of sad the education system in the US produced your dumb ass and you aren't smart enough to know your limitations. Canadians having trouble following the science- or figuring out if "the science" is determined where the scientists are or over at Trudeau's office.

Note that at no point does she say that the astrazenica vaccine should not be given to seniors. She is just asking and pointing out how confusing and harmful it is to the populace to see the disconnect at the top.

Clown show.

On the second part about the Quarantine Sexual Assault Centers. Not even funny even though that also is a complete clown show.

Hey, had no idea you decided to take me off ignore again. You really need to make up your mind. On again off again.

So we can now compare a state with ~66 thousand square miles and 21.5M people to a country with ~3.9 million miles and this is an "apples to apples" comparison in population density, which is an obvious factor in the behavior of viruses. Do New Jersey next. Small state, but that doesn't matter, right? Or hey, how about Illinois? California? About 27 states have worse numbers than Florida. Do them.

However - more importantly, I'm trying to get us a quarantine hotel here in Florida that overcharges everyone and then locks them up and starves them. Which Canadian team can you recommend as a consultant?

They are free here in Québec instead of $1200 - $2000 dollars elsewhere in Canada. :D

I have a few snowbird friends that make their yearly trek to Florida from here in Québec and stayed at a quarantine place in Florida. Food was bad but it was food. Staff were poorly trained but nobody was sexually assaulted or robbed but the place did have a very bad odor...some stated it smelled like someone's armpit.
Yet, one of the snowbirds did joke and say they stated at a quarantine hotel where a murder had occurred the prior year before the Pandemic. :D

Unfortunately, this Ont. woman got reamed to about +3,500 dollars returning back to Canada from a funeral in Portugal...maybe the hotels trying to make back some money they've been losing during the Pandemic...

Make sure you have a credit card (you're still going to get reamed).


On the flip side, they should have flown into Québec and then drove to Ontario. They would have been given free water and food although prison like catering but no WiFi...forced to use your personal hotspot on your cell phone. :sneaky:
