Canada’s covid-19 second wave is a humbling moment after a summer of bragging

Are you sure you're getting enough oxygen? I try to make an apple-to-apple comparison while accounting for the differences, and you just doof out.

Okay, you want to go the density route? How about Germany? Is it densely populated enough for you? Germany's population is over 80 million, and it is smaller than the state of Montana. Did you compare their deaths per million with that of the US?

Angela Merkel is a rock star. Trump is a frump, and so are you.
And the Philippines is crushing Germany.
Duterte makes Merkel suck his toes!

Thanks for your anecdotes but the comparison was USA and Canada.

You crediting or discrediting politicians for COVID is a perfect example of why if you don’t understand science - don’t talk about it.

I had to block a couple of guys for now the denying rhetoric is getting stupid. My source had Canada and US even closer on urban percentage almost identical ( guess it depends on what urban is defined as ). It's all irrelevant of course Southern Ontario is as dense as most areas of the US given that Toronto is the 4th largest city, and the true metro area ( sprawl ) is close to 6-7 million which is almost half the entire province.

Some of these guys just don't get it ( or don't want to get it ). Ontario at roughly 287 is a LOT lower then Florida at 966, and both are way lower then North and South Dakota which are far less densely populated. In fact, if they knew Canada, they'd discover Alberta is the national leader in Covid stats these days and Quebec has been consistently higher then Ontario all year.

Tsing Tao will deny every comparison that exists; Southern Ontario is a very valid comparison he just has no clue about Canada really.

Hopefully you blocked me, because a self-claimed Mensa member who tries to slice and dice statistics to get the best possible outcome for his narrative isn't what I would call "overly intelligent". You start out here by saying Canada can be compared to Florida. But I point out the incredible difference in population density as just one different variable, so you then say let's compare Ontario to Florida - while at the same time saying we can't compare Russia, Denmark, Germany, etc - to Canada for some....reason that is clear only to you (because the numbers there are better, of course).

And then, suddenly we can compare only South Ontario to Florida.

Comparisons work for you when the data leans your way. They don't when they work against you. That is your only criteria.

You just aren't good with numbers, and painfully unaware about Canada. I pointed out Southern Ontario because YOU brought up population density. There is no "incredible difference in population density" on this basis; in fact, Metro Toronto is a bigger city then anywhere in Florida. You just keep pushing a stupid narrative. Over and over and over ... .

I addressed your country list at the time; Ontario had better numbers then all of them except Denmark. If you want to be real here, grab a map and look at the size of Ontario, and note that Covid policy and spread is largely a provincial and municipal concern. All your doing is highlighing why the US has performed so poorly relative to Canada concerning Covid. I brought this up many months ago and you said "once we open up" we'd catch up to your numbers. Like fuck we did. Americans have been their own worst enemy on this, and the fact you continue to push this shit in December merely highlights what a complete moron you have been concerning Covid.

I brought up population density when you tried to compare Florida to Canada. And rightfully so.

What narrative do I keep pushing over and over? Please, be specific. If it is about Canada, I don't give a rat's ass about Canada apart from how it seems to get you crazy. Apart from that, what is my narrative, again?

So "Ontario" was better than all of the countries except Denmark? Why do we just get to focus on Ontario? Why can't we look at the total country vs other countries like the ones I mentioned? Perhaps we should compare "Ontario" to "Copenhagen County" or something like that?

If you're point is to compare the US vs. Canada, so what? A country with like 10% of the population? Really? Can we compare Guam to China next?

I'm not playing your games anymore. Congrats on being willfully ignorant and in the process needlessly killing off thousands of extra people in your state and country, at various points stressing the hell out of your medical system and personnel. I get it, you don't give a rat's ass about Canada. And as I noted many months ago, you apparently don't give a rat's ass about all those dead people in Florida. No need to see what Canada's doing at all if minimizing Covid damage is not important to you. Carry on like it's not real.

So what was the narrative I was pushing?
