Looking at the statistics...Canada has managed the Pandemic much better than the United States mainly because of leadership and support of their citizens.

Amid a global supply crunch with only a few COVID-19 vaccines approved, countries in the European Union are under similar pressure but held off drawing on the limited doses COVAX has available.
The federal government defended its decision,saying it has always intended to draw from the international program in addition to contributing to the effort.

The COVAX purchase is on top of the seven contracts Canada signed directly with drug makers. Through those seven contracts, and factoring in the two-shot dose regimen for most of the vaccines, the federal government had already bought enough vaccines to inoculate the entire population three times

In fact, to do remember early into the Pandemic...Canada recognize / debated about the strong possibility of a shortage of vaccine and many question Canada giving so much to the program while not securing enough dosage for itself.
Now its revealed that Canada has in fact secured enough dosage but like all other countries in the world...there's a manufacturing delay.
Simply, no begging...its just we need to take care of our citizens first prior to being able to help other countries.

Now look at them...one party is fractured because part of it is still catering to the loonies and their lies.
Trudeau still has a little time plug a few holes in the damn before elections in Canada. The good thing...all the political parties believe in the science of Covid-19 since Day 1 and they have come down hard on those in the government that didn't follow the same Health Canada guidelines about Covid-19.
As stated before, I own property in both United States and Canada...if I was paying a mortgage and needed help...I would be in trouble in the United States in comparison to Canada. Talking to friends in both countries, the ones in the United States have more fear involving keeping their homes in this Pandemic than friends here in Canada.
I don't see any bragging. Instead, I see a lot of ignorance south of the border that has about 4% of the global population but +20% of the infections. There's other stats not shown below that the United States is performing badly while Canada is performing much better.

Canada is #22nd. Fortunately, they both are doing better now due to the recent declining overall numbers in infections / hospitalizations / deaths but the United States is still higher than Canada.
Simply, Trudeau administration has manage the Pandemic much better than the Trump administration if people are going to compare the two via looking at statistics above and many other stats

For the record...I didn't vote for Trudeau's party in the past Canada election but his leadership is far above Trump's leadership when it comes to Covid-19, social unrest and many other issues.
- Don't forget...Canada is the first country to put the Proud Boys on a "Terrorist List" while trying to manage a Pandemic at the same time.
