Canada ranks worst in coronavirus deaths among elderly care homes

Yes, let the government take it over, that’s the fix fir everything.
The government can protect the vulnerable against exploitation. Meanwhile you go ahead and wait for the exploiter to grow a conscience, or for Adam Smith to give you an Invisible Hand job.

Wallet and others have no education to speak of and facts that interfere with their version of the world are ignored or clumsily dropped, so the government taking over a dangerous private LTC gets some half crack about incompetent gubment running their socialism (though his beloved US military are *socialism for free riders on a level no western socialist country would dare).

Trump has provided a dark, dank hole into which these happily ignorant folk can dump whatever it is they’re mad about… the anger they find delicious and tribal.

*Vets and their take your government hands off my Medicaid etc.

Barbarians those Canadians.

They take care of themselves but treat granny as expendable.

Oh, the shame.

From the article, I'll post two quotes for those who understand ratios.

Canada has had a "relatively low" overall COVID-19 mortality rate compared to other OECD countries.

Eighty-one percent of COVID-19 deaths in Canada were recorded in long-term care homes, according to an analysis by the government agency.

I have no doubt he graduated from Trump U with honors. "Honors" meaning payment in full.

They are all strongly conspiracy self-indulgent. A lot of intelligent people when younger get curious about such but as they see the failed conspiracies stack up they get wise.

Trump U has an all you can eat sushi conveyor belt of conspiracy and they can't leave even when they have had the Benghazi Teriyaki plate ten times and its never been good.

Just thought that I would post that article to shamelessly troll the idiots, and just like clockwork they all showed up.

The Canadians are a fragile bunch that spend 99% of their time trying to argue that their dick is not really smaller than the Americans.

Heh. Not proud of it but it has been fun.

On almost every thread where you respond to me, you tell me how great Canada is and why America is so messed up. You are the one playing that game. Most of us know Canada is different and we will let you in Canada deal with your issues and strengths.
But, you inject your garbage thought and one post deep lefty shit... while touting the virtues of Canada on every thread I read.

That you would dare call someone out for this demonstrates your complete lack of integrity.

By the way when I lived on the west coast of Florida I met a ton of Canadians. When in school I traveled Central with a group from Vancouver. In my experience every Canadian I met was fair minded, reasonable and not rabid leftists like you. You don't speak for Canada. You speak for a very small subset. (you) Most Canadian you meet outside of Canada are far more realistic about the pros and cons of their system vs ours. You a bag nuts on almost every issue.

Seems to be the habit of some Americans on here to lash out at other countries like Canada when shit really hits the fan in the US. Kind of a method of denial. Canadians accept the reality that a lot of retirement homes were run terribly by mediocre or worse operators.
