When justin trudeau formed his first cabinet after winning an election in 2015, it was a triumphant affair. The prime-minister-elect marched to Rideau Hall, home to the Queen’s representative in Canada, like a conquering hero, surrounded by beaming ministers. On March 18th, half a political lifetime later, he walked to the hall with just his security detail to make the third change to his cabinet this year. The usually media-friendly Mr Trudeau did not stop. Waiting reporters thought they heard him mutter “Having a good day....” as he slipped in by a side door.
There have not been many good days for the prime minister since the publication in February of allegations that he and his officials put pressure on the then attorney-general to fine rather than prosecute snc-Lavalin, a large construction firm in Quebec accused of bribery. In their wake has come a slew of resignations. Jody Wilson-Raybould, the former attorney-general, left the cabinet on February 12th, followed by Jane Philpott, a respected minister who later quit in sympathy. Gerry Butts, Mr Trudeau’s senior adviser, took responsibility for “a communication breakdown” and resigned. This week Michael Wernick, Canada’s highest-ranking civil servant, told Mr Trudeau he too would go, since he is no long

I would imagine Trudeau would not stand a chance in the private sector. A typical barista or fast food worker would probably leave Trudeau in the dust. However, he might make it as a quality control inspector for either woman’s clothing or marijuana.
Meanwhile, when Trump's time is (soon) up, he could resort to modeling fashion wear for the fat, stupid and ugly.
Either that or his multibillion dollar hotel empire.
It's not like Trump actually does anything other than step on his own dick. He's financial net worth is no more than what his old man left him.
Trudeau also doesn't need to work if he doesn't want to.

If Trudeau committed wrongdoing, and it is looking increasingly that he has, then he should pay the price. Are you prepared to say the same about Trump?
If Trump modeled underwear I am pretty sure you would be the first to have a full sized cut-out in your living room. - if not already.
If by wrong doing, we are talking about serious issues, not just technical violation of the law, then I would agree with you. Being a business owner myself in the United States, I, along with those I’ve contracted to violate at least hundreds of laws possiblity hundreds of times per year we operate our businesses. In fact, one major fortune 500 company I used to do business with commits over 20,000 2nd degree felonies per year in one of the states they are domiciled in. Although it is unintentional, I’m sure, a motivated politician could shut them down like turning a light switch off. There are numerous laws and regulations in the US that cover a huge range of subjects that make it impossible for an entity of any size to keep up. Federal laws, state laws, local laws, industry or occupational laws that cover the range of laws from administrative, civil, and criminal.
It is a great environment for attorneys and politicians. For business owners and citizens, not so much.
There were major transfers of wealth either directly or indirectly by major legislative efforts by Congress. They were the EPA superfund laws that basically turned land ownership by long established businesses from a asset into a liability. Although part of it was to deal with some bad actors, the effect was more work for lawyers, politically connected enviromental engineering companies, and local governments. Most businesses and individuals were unfairly affected. All commercial property in the United States must be inspected. As far as I know, all commercial properties are considered as some sort of clean up sight according to EPA maps. One can find these maps on city-data.com or other websites.
The other legistlative transfer of wealth or liabilities from one entity to another was the Affordable Healthcare Act, where small business owners and independent contractors were forced to buy insurance for the first time. Most did not want it.
The net result of these laws are political control over businesses, higher prices, and less rights. True Conservatives with their small Government mantra is truly the best form of Government not just for businesses, large and small, but for our community as a whole.
Don't be a pussy. That is what is getting Trudeau in trouble and he never should have started down the road to trying to pussy and wuss around on the SNC-Lavin thing.
There is not a single Prime Minister- conservative or liberal-who would not have done what he did. Every country in the world has crooked countries and you have to figure out how to punish them without killing your workforce. His job is to make Canada great which requires a job for many. The public sector grifters in Ottawa- not so much- they have the public tit. He needed to flat out tell the justice minister to find a settlement that punished the shit out of the company but kept the company up and running in Quebec.
Instead, he pussied around and hire all these women and men pussies who are not vomiting out all sorts of words about him hinting this and that all while he is bending over backward not to offend all the women he recruited to create "Canada's first balanced Cabinet" which is no longer balanced because they left.
Then he tries to deal with it by re-assigning the justice minister over to head up veteran's affairs from which she resigned a couple weeks later. You can't make this shiite up.
Trudeau can salvage this but not by going down the pussy road that you and he want to go down. He needs to just show some balls. He is Quebecois and Lavin is a Quebec company. He knows the turf. They paid some bribes in Libya but no one gives a fuck about Libya. Fine the shit out of them and move on- stop all the slobbering apologies to the women in the cabinet because you raised your voice to them. Trudeau deviated from the lib script and put Canada first. Do more of that. And less groveling. It has only dug him in deeper.
I have not seen any evidence that Trudeau acted out of personal financial gain- as the Clinton do- but acted for Canada. But he has to knock off all that goddam apologizing and groveling and re-assigning people. Not the way to go. You guys need to raise your testosterone level up there a bit and stop the Apology Tours for failing to put the toilet seat up or down.
