Can you recommend a course on trading psychology?

I just finished listening to "Trading in the Zone" for the third time and had several aha moments I had missed before. Douglas really knew what he was talking about...top 5 trading book for me.

Do books really helps? I believe it all depends on a trader's mindset.

Do books help? Unless you are lucky enough to have a mentor with the right skills, experience and willingness to help, I don't see where else you would get the information. Books, articles, lectures are all tools. Take what you need out of them and discard the rest...

My mindset was trash and my results reflected that state UNTIL I was introduced to and guided through "Trading in the Zone". Then I had to invest a lot of time working on my Psychology.

Like I say that's my $0.02, other people will have different results.

There must be people out there who didn't come to trading with baggage that needed to be worked through. Lucky buggers Still its the journey and not the destination....

Don’t know about the courses. But there are some good books that are recommended by experienced traders. Trading in the zone by Mark douglas and The Psychology of Trading- Brett N. Steenbarger are most recommended.

Don't waste your time on pschology courses it isn't gonna change your mental discipline in trading.
It's fixed from a young age and become near impossible to change without life changing circumstances.

Good points+ pscho-babble may do more harm than good; i found M Douglas books worthless.
But several things can help; personality detailed books like Flo Littauer ''Personality Plus''' +'' It Takes So Little To Be Above Average.........................................................................''
Most private or public libraries have them.
ALSO try writing stuff down; + doing things you may not like\ like walking 3 miles @ week...,.... DR Van Tharp books+ interview= very helpful+ that other counsellor that Steve Cohen's hedge fund uses [Jack Schwager top trader books again ..........] EDIT trading is not like gambling @ all \but can be addicting.That can be a good thing if we are not addicted to water [about 8 glasses @ day]we are all dead ducks

I find the School of Pipsology a very effective course on trading psychology. I’d suggest every beginner to take this course.
