Buyers or sellers may be really strong at any given point in time, but that can turn on a dime. In an instant. The past is the past, not the future.

without the past the future does not exist.
what turns in an instant will turn again in an instant
nothing on this earth moving fast can turn on a dime.
change is a process.
just because you do not notice the process does not mean price turns on a dime

short term traders only trade with technical.
there are professional scalpers what else can a scalper use apart from technicals
fundamentals take time to change and sometimes never change
those who talk of past and future forget there is a present.
Some short term traders (daytraders) use more than just technicals...retail and professional.
Sure, there's others that only use technicals and nothing else.
