Is it possible to customize what leverage you want to use before each making each trade? For instance, for one trade, let's say I want to use 2:1 leverage, but for another I want to use 4:1.

Or can you only choose the leverage for your entire account?

Your account leverage is fixed by the broker and you can not change it before every trade. If you want to change your leverage you will have to contact the broker and get it changed.

No you can’t change your leverage with every trade. That’s why it’s important to determine the leverage ratio you would want to use in your trading plan, and look for a broker accordingly.
