Stay on topic please.its possible, depends on the individual's technique, style, knowledge, experience.
if you want as close to beat the market follow those that get as close to doing it, buy & trade what they trade.
if there is a "beat the market" hedge fund, look at what holdings they have, same with Buffet.
Warren Buffett & Jim Simons have different styles, one trades, the other invests.
someone mentioned QQQ, others trade personal picks, futures, options ....
my personal beat the market as an investor is the 3x ETF's, with a personal hold of TQQQ since 2010. I am older, I believe that I have discipline today to not be all over the map & know that I am not as smart as a 5th grader.
I don't follow analysts, or the flavor of the moment, nor do I follow the crowd & I don't use charts or technical analysis.
as a trader I trade options, I don't scalp or day trade
