can you apply a profitable forex strategy to currency futures?

Pretty much just asking what the title says. Say someone is profitable on the EUR/USD in forex. could they trade whatever the EUR/USD futures contract is exactly the same way with the same results?
 
Until you try it yourself for real, any reply is just pure speculation, which has absolutely no basis!
 
If you're using a technical setup you might find futures easier to trade because with futures you'll have access to true volume... not just tick volume.

I'm more concerned with the fact that futures are regulated and brokers don't go stop hunting.

But I hear you have to trade huge lots when you trade futures. Is this true? I don't want to have to do huge $100/tick trades :eek:

Very True. Just bring up the 6E and the spot at the same time and you will see. You have to adjust the futures price, but it is arbed out very quickly nowadays.
