Can we talk about day trading?

I AM looking at the whole forest. It is YOU who are looking at the single trees, like how we "don't have a thread specifically about day-trading" involving issues that are covered in multiple other forums.

So go ahead. Start a thread specific to day-trading involving all of those issues in one bundle. In which section would you start it?
It sounds like creating a mitchmas for a non-existent problem. Et has enough issues with posters who cannot say on focus on the subject of a thread.

He did (this one) and then it got facked up with nonsense.

Day trading is a business. Treat it as anything else and your business will fail within 1-2 years, usually from capital drains. You have to learn all the things you DON'T understand, not just tweak the things you do understand.

Day trading.

Big advantage for retail traders is access to much higher intra day leverage. eg. You can get over 200x intra day leverage with futures.

That is much more than you will ever need. So the sky is the limit in terms of the rate of returns you can make. 1000% or more a year is possible.

Personally, I ain't too interested in knowing the definition of day trading or what you can potentially make. While that may be an interesting topic to beginners, I've been doing this for awhile.

On the other hand, I would love to talk about perhaps the psychology behind why you decided to enter at X and got spooked out at Y and bailed out at a loss, etc. People love to talk about their winners but not so much when it comes to losses and their inner demons. But your winners are mostly the outcome of endless tears from many years of losses.

Seriously, I've never seen so many wayward ADHD patients than here. Jumping here, there, and everywhere, they just can't seem to stay focused on any one thing. Now what were we talking about again?

If your focus is not on trading large size, its probably misplaced.
I noticed you did not mention "position sizing" in the opening post, in the list of potential topics you suggested. This is telling.

Trading large size is not a topic just for beginners. It is actually more of an expert topic.
