can u daytrade index futures without margin account?

can u trade index futures[ es, ym er2] without a margin account. can u trade more than one round trip a day without the pattern day trader halt of your account? can u trade agriculture futures with just a cash account?
side note, what if u traded 3 round trip trades in a day with a cash account and entered a fourth that you had to close. would u be stuck with that trade until the next day, or would your account be froze and your stuck with it longer?
 
You don't need a margin account to trade futures. You just have to have enough money in your account to cover the margin for trading the eminis. You could trade 1000 times a day if you wanted to, there are no day trading rules.
 
technically, futures are not traded with "margin"

that;'s why you CAN trade futures in an IRA but can't short stocks or use leverage with stocks
 
In simple words, “Margin in futures” is a good faith deposit, while in “Stocks” you are actually borrowing the money.
