Can there be a market crash?

With all of the monetization...and still no global crash...can there be a market crash? Oil spike - hasn't happened even with all of the crap in the ME. Food crisis? Only in places that don't effect the markets. High unemployment? Who does NOT know that real UE is around 23%? Companies "missing numbers"? Have you seen real estate numbers and the finacials of some of the banks? What can/will cause the markets to crash? War?

I created a thread that talks about complete Stock market crash and dollar crash at the same time in year 2011.

Most people laughed.

So most people believe it can't happen. And of course we know full well most people on ET are successful traders with a HUGE knowledge base on action reaction, cause and effect. :D
