Can somone explain to me what horse betting and trading have in common?

He only makes calls after the fact. He is kind of notorious for that. He will tell you about what any stock did in the past. He has been doing that for 10 years strong with all of his ET alias's.
the derby is not my favorite betting op. lots of folks enjoy the hype and what you get are a bunch of clowns making picks, and so whatever happens, there's always someone to say ' I had it'

You just had all the favorites lose in the filly version of the derby, including a horse that just won by 20 lengths in super fast time. Banged hard out of the gate, never in the hunt. Winner paid $75 for 2.

Historically the derby has been a tough race for favorites. The field is nearly always large, ridden very aggresively because the tradition is for the stewards to object only to a homocide (if that).
If you like a long shot to win it the nature of the field and the hesitance to take wild aggressive jockey behavior to task make it the place to play that longshot. More of fun bet most years then an edge bet. Louisville is a great small town with friendly people.

After all was said and done, the very lukewarm favorite wins and pays 12 for 2. 19 horse fields will do that.
Lots of folks picked the winner, but the second place horse was a bomb, and few had it in the exotics, boosting payoffs. Had that horse won, it would have been considered a major upset.
I made one bet today at Belmont and cashed on a $23 winner. Less stress than trying to fathom the Derby.
