Can somone explain to me what horse betting and trading have in common?

well, I don't want to burst anyones bubble, but the show pool is too small to absorb any kind of decent bet EVEN if there was some edge to be had.
serious players bet thousands on a race, so the show pool is out. period.
not sure what book you read, but I know you aren't getting this from a real player.

You still daytrading penny stocks? Which account are you on now? I know you left the board after your last blowout. I guess you moved on to horses. LOL. At least you'll lose your money a lot slower there. Good luck bud.
The only common thing I see in horse betting and trading is the money. The horse betting is for high class rich people while forex trading can be done with 10 bucks only. There are more differences than similarities.
I've been watching the handicappers during the Saratoga season every year..they always lose. They have 3 guys, not always the same...pfffttttt.
One year I played the same DD every day of the meet - 1 and 4. I just looked at the odds of how many times the PP won.
So get this, I placed all my bets at OTB. A and D. About three weeks in the DD was 1 and 4. Yes! guess what, at OTB A and D was not the winning DD one of the horse was scratched hence D was not 4. Foiled again.
ps. don't ask me to explain it..I've forgotten......I moved on....duh. Back to show bets (every horse in the race as my wife would say). lmao...
