Can someone tell me what I saw MCD...

Yesterday I was watching McDonald's real close. It's the day before triple witching, in the middle of the trading day (Thursday). The price is going above and below $210...Back and forth, up and down. I get that part. At one point the trading stopped (again a very highly trade stock). The bid/ask is $209.99/$210.01...And it's just sitting there...Like a rock. It's like gunfighters are ready to draw...Waiting for someone to make the first move. Silence...Waiting...No moves. Finally a move (don't remember which way) and everything was back to normal.

What do you think was happening here and what cause this showdown??
 
triple witching, quad witching, penta witching, hexa witching or billiona witching or whatever,
MCD has been moving between 206 to 200 ( 7% range) for weeks already.

It will continue to move in this range until the chart says otherwise.

Maybe it was an oddly coincidental confluence of everybody's digestive systems all telling them to evacuate at once, at that same time, after consuming the Large Fries along with the Royale w/ Cheese for lunch.
