Can Matlab link to platform

Can MATLAB connect to trading platform(such as TT)?
I want to use matlab to do algorithm part and matlab send position, which is calculated in Matlab, to platform to trade. Is that possible? Is there API for matlab?
Or I have to re-write the algorithm in C# in order to link to platform?
