Can I trade forex without leverage/margin?

Of course you can. Just your profits might be very marginal. Might not be worth more than the interest on the savings parked in your bank account. Not trying to sell you the idea of using leverage here, but do consider trying it out after calculating your risk per trade. Like I follow the thumb rule of 3:1 while using leverage on trades with IB, Fxview, Hotforex. And also although the leverage offered by these brokers is way higher, I don’t normally use more than 50x. So you can try with even 5x and once you profit from it you wouldn’t want to trade much without it :)
 
Yes, it's possible to trade without leverage, but the disadvantage is that it is not accessible to most traders. Trading without leverage may only give profits worth a peanut size.

Depends on a volatility. This year, take for example SPX had crazy volatility (1% more than 200 days from the year).
 
Honestly I feel trading with or without leverage is more of a personal choice. Some people use really less leverage and some use extremely high, its depends on a trader's startegy which obviously varies from trader to trader. So, all depends on you.
 
Determine for yourself the possibility of how you want to trade, leverage is just an auxiliary element that you may need.
 
I would suggest trading with leverage. Though it is possible to trade without leverages many traders prefer to trade with leverage because the profit earned with leverages is higher than trading without leverages.

Yes, you can trade without leverage if you've large personal fund to invest.

Trading without leverage is like buying a stock that will sell at the same price as the purchased price. With leverage, the money invested is lower and the profits gained are higher.
