Can I open up multiple cash accounts?

Hi

Pretty basic question but I was wondering if I could open up multiple cash accounts with the same broker?

I am not prone to the idea of margin, therefore wondered if say $100,000 could be deposited in 4 separate cash accounts?

This way I could have 4 slots to trade, while waiting for the funds to be settled after a trade.

Yeah, although IB will do it, it's no longer automated. Why not run $400k in a portfolio margin account? The call rates are insignificant.
 
$400,000 in one account would work just as well. But I believe the four accounts would be acceptable to the firms.
