Can I interest you in a little race baiting?

Quote from RichardRimes:

I knew a lot about George Bush:mad: I know enough about Obama and not from the sources you quote. I have seen the look of trust in the eyes of his children, I have heard his wife speak of him with justified pride in the man he has become. I know he was raised in part by his grandparents who share mid American values. I know daddy didn't pay his way thru Harvard. Could I end up disappointed....sure but I would be willing to bet all the money I have he will not disappoint me as much as Bush has.

Ok, now I am going to insult you. You have seen the "look of trust in the eyes of his children?" You heard the "pride" in his wife's voice? Puuhleeeze.

You really cannot be that naive. I guess denial really is a sign. You've swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

ps. Bush is not on the ticket. Get over it.

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:

Facts? The fact is Obama is clearly unqualified to be president. He is the most unqualified person to run for the office in my lifetime on a major party ticket. Can you dispute that? This is not American Idol. Even Joe Biden recognized he was unqualified and that the Oval Office is not the place for on the job training.

He was a state senator, and a US senator where he wrote, sponsored and co sponsored thousands of bills. He's harvard educated (where he was also the editor of the law review) and has a history of bringing people together and getting things done. Your the kind of person that would like an old stereotypical politician in the public office. We're sick of old people with "experience". Experience in what? Experience is only valuable when your attempting to replicate past results. We don't want the past results. I don't want "experience", I want someone who has fresh ideas and an innovative mind with the aggressiveness to get something done. The old dogs have had their time in politics and its over now. Just like sports teams, and tech companies, the government needs fresh new talent. Thats what Obama is. I can't think how many times i've done something better in my life than the "experienced" could do it. Young people are becoming more prominent than ever in every industry as well as government. You old guys can either compete or get out of the way. It's how it is in sports, entertainment, business and now government. I watch Cspan and it disgusts me. i watched the senate banking committee and all their "experience". Those guys didn't even know that oil was priced in an open futures market. John Mccain admittedly doesn't know the function of the federal reserve rates (he "wishes they were zero"). Sure they all have experience, but they are idiots. The fact is I could have done a better job on the senate banking committee that day, ME. I could have commented on bernanke's rate cuts. I realize that its impossible for one person to know everything. However the senators on that committee had to know they were questioning oil prices, yet they in all their "experience" didnt even bother to have an aide explain to them hw the futures market worked. Not only do these old senators not know a damn thing THEY DONT EVEN BOTHER TO LEARN. Mccain didn't even realize that bernanke has cut rates so much, which means he's so far out of touch with whats going on, what good could he do? And if he did realize the rates were being cut drastically he didn't even bother to learn what their function was?? He's been in the senate for decades!! Obama may not be an expert on rates or the economy, but i GUARANTEE the day that he learned what was going on he sat down and figured out what was going on in this country...lets face it...it doesn't take a rocket scientist. Not so long ago I didn't know what was going on either, but I'm aggressive and intelligent enough to FIND OUT. You can have your experience. I will take intelligence, tenacity and talent over experience doing things the wrong way any day.

BTW they said the same thing about kennedy :)

Don't bother telling me he is a very intelligent guy who reads a teleprompter well and you think he will do fine. That is just your hope, hope that you have been manipulated into believing.

I haven't been manipulated into believing anything. I base my conclusions off of facts. You don't. i know because I've had to reply many times correcting your posts with sheer information.

If the media had attacked him or even reported objectively on him, he would never had gotten the nomination. The media would have given him the Palin treatment, basically looking at him dismissively and saying who the hell are you or just ignoring him altogether. But they were never going to do that to a liberal, well educated black guy, someone they would love to be able to show off to their friends at dinner parties. And the sheep obediently fall into line.

What do the media matter? I don't have a tv or watch it. You base your conclusions on the media? No wonder your posts are filled with easily correctable fallacies.

Bill Clinton even doesn't seem to think Obama is qualified... The Democratic party just can't lose even a fraction of the Black vote so they need to keep them on the reservation. If blacks became full fledged educated workers with jobs in the private sector they would be Republicans so that's the Democrat's agenda, keep them down and believing it's racism doing it..... I have some news here... I don't find racists very often at all, and when I do they are usually not in a hiring position, it's Jessee Jackson and the race industry that is keeping Blacks out of private sector jobs, employers price in the cost of a lawsuit and they can't hire a black applicant... and Obama is for the teachers unions and against vouchers which would allow black families to find better schools for their kids, that is an obvious affront to black voters sensibilities.. and he has his kids in private schools too, elite little commie liar that he is...... his view of a black voter is likely as potential revolutionaries.

McSAME is...sorry I can't get over it...I'll continue to be pissed off for the next 4 years if McCain is elected:mad:

Jon after reading your posts I think you're a smart, nice guy. I also think you're the most naive, gullible, lack of common sense MF I've seen in some time. I suggest you get a job for big money-I'm sure you have VERY employable skills-but your extreme lack of crap detection will get you SMOKED in trading. You're too miuch a master of the obvious. If only life were so easy....

Thanks, I'm glad you agree.

Good thinking. Stick the country with an unqualified president with a record of associating with some of the worst people in the ocuntry because you are a religious bigot. Very smart.

Haha well thank for the kind words, but you have me pegged all wrong. I've been self employed for the last 3 years. I worked for somebody else one time when i was 16, it won't be happening again. Im still new to trading, but I'm learning a lot (thanks to anek and others in #AHG). Trading presents its unique challenges sure, but the basic ingredients are the same as they were when i was a mortgage broker or developing rural land: work harder than everyone else, be smarter, think bigger, and never give up. Everything else is just details. sure I'm a shitty trader, but i wouldnt bet on things staying that way forever :)

You can't teach an old dog new tricks. The fact that it is an antsy, fickle-minded (loves to flip-flop) and irascible canine only adds to its misery. Metaphorically speaking, it also has a propensity to engage in razzle-dazzle when you least expect it to, being the canny canine that it is. Our four-legged friend also happens to have a puritanical streak running through him which is prone to change depending on ...
