Can I get Amazon.ca to refund the price difference after they lower the price?

• I bought an item for $234.53 and the new price is $192.50.
• I have till June 11, 2022 to return item - but I see no option for refund of the $42.03 price difference.

Just return the item, and buy it again. No biggie.

That happened to me a while back. I had ordered a Kindle reader and there was a bit of a delay in shipping. Before the item was shipped, Amazon lowered the price. I called the company and asked them to credit me the difference, explaining I could just return the reader upon receipt and then order it again at the lower price. But I didn't want to do that and cause both parties unnecessary grief. They agreed. After receiving the shipment, they credited me the difference. And we lived happily ever after.
