It won't work. I want to have separate performances for each lets call them "sub_accounts". The way that you are saying just lists the stocks or options in separate pages and once you trade them, they go to your portfolio page. Lets assume that I have 100K in my total account and I have 90K in my risky and 10K in non-risky accounts. The only effect that I want from my non-risky account to my risky account is daytrading feature (over 25K) but I want to have separate SMA in each account so if I do crazy trades in my risky account and lose money, I want IB to treat it as a separate account and liquidate me if it is needed.This feature can be optional.Quote from teun:
BTW, you could do this by creating multiple pages. Then you don't trade anymore from the portfolio-page (if you do so now) but from the risk or no-risk page.
