Because it is unregulated and very high leverage. Gee, what type of brokers would encourage that? What type of people would fall for it?

It is for dreamers and the ill prepared looking for easy money, lots and lots of easy money.
Probably better off buying Mega Million tickets at 350mil to 1.
 
Forex? Why? Because you can trade piko lots? And broker gives you money to trade? And gives you free platform? And fucks you in your ... It never attracted me except few hundred trades on 6E futures but it worked well only with bigger price ranges ... once volatility dies there is no profit potential for me ...

What index futures markets offer you can hardly find anywhere else. The price ranges and volatility gives you tremendous opportunity to profit. Whether you can harvest it or not is a different story

If you can make money trading forex I bet you can do it with futures and index futures

BB /\, i know some can shot a bison off a horse+ good+ good on that LOL:caution::caution:
I also know some did super well on single stocks, funds, / Mike Masters/ Peter Lynch, Mr Munger/ Mr Goldblatt................................
But those were regulated stocks + exceptional examples .................Prefer ETFs myself.
My Indian friend + i used a modern recurve + later compound bows , liked + .30-06 + scope, better .And used , solid ,secure tree stands + camo.
He+ his good looking Indian mom never blamed Andrew Jackson or whined much LOL.
I guess in fairness to the Forex brokers\ many disclose in fine print\ can't lose more than original investment LOL Good disclosure .
