true... but there's nothing wrong with having some feelers in perceived weak sections of the market.

and amateurs buy at the top and get out too late when the selling has hit hard already.

i'm short 30%, long 70% ... there are plenty of successful guys out there who are testing short positions out there, ie $dollarcostaverageman.
