Can Blacks just blame it on education???

We keep hearing that blacks blame the education system but is that really the problem?
Many immigrant groups went through the same schools as the blacks and yet they succeed.
The real problem lies on the break down of the traditional black family. Where are the fathers that should be making sure tbeir children are doing their home work, understanding their home work, respecting their teachers, not roaming the streets on a school night, and corresponding with teachers when their child is falling behind??? The answer is they are in prison or no where to be found and that is the true problem. I dont care how good a school system is, if the child has no structure at home( blacks have none), they will continue to struggle in school regardless of how good the school system is.
Look at the out of wedlock birth rate in the black community ( 80% ). If that was due to poor education then why do large numbers of black athletes who wind up going to good colleges still decide to have babies out of wedlock while in college? You see it during the nfl and nba drafts, its ridiculous. What kind of message is that ? That obviously has nothing to do with education, they graduated from colleges . it has to do with the black culture.

Yes--agreed and also in the traditional White family, Hispanic family etc. The culprits are Leftists in the gummint who reward absentee parenthood by subsidizing the mothers. This allow "fathers" to abdicate their responsibilities. Without a strong male role model, children are not guided properly through adolescence and adulthood. This issue is most prevalent in The Black family since Leftist Liberals pander to this community due to White Guilt which is a destructive joke.

I agree with most of your posting except the last line. It doesn't have to do with The Black Culture as that has been historically strong and moral. What it does have to do with is Leftists attempts to change The Black Culture.
