Can AI and a supercomputer beat the markets?

I can identify. I have the book "Trading the Ross Hook" by Joe Ross which currently sells for $520.00 on Amazon. It's highly regarded but i didn't find it easy to read. Maybe I'll try again later.
WHY? If it is too complicated then it can't be consistently accurate. If you can't program it . . . it's nearly worthless. Oh and it's on eBay for $100 which is still about $90 overpriced.

Coincidentally this was the first book I read starting out 14y ago. It’s basically a long explaining of lower lows and lower highs and/or possible HS. Then within bars, as seen on a lower timeframe. I also read this book “Optures and futions”. Nothing special and it’s best to move on, but it hooked me on options, which is good thing

I still think he was one of the first pioneers on this PA trading thing (which basically is seeing a combination of pricebars and drawing a conclusion, which “indicators” were simple derivations from”). This was back from the days everyone had this this standard setup of 3 indicators on the bottom of their screen (macd, rsi etc)

Gemini is Google and knows i am a conservative right winger from my surfing habits. When i ask it a legitmate question about a specific people group, it cautioned me againist being judgemental. I then replied to Gemini asking wasn't it being judgemental in assuming i was racist when in fact i was just researching marketing. It apologized and said it would be more careful in the future, that it was still learning.

I use Gemini and https://www.perplexity.ai/ most every day. They are both very very helpful and at the same time you have to watch them as they sometimes give wrong answers that are obvious.

Surprisingly they can give good answers about various settings and indicators in a trading platform. They can also give wrong answers.

Every week day i ask them what % of my postion $ amount = my results, to get my % results per symbol and you would think they would get that right every time without fail, but somehow they are sometimes off a decimal point or 2.
I used Gemini and chatGPT to do cancer research (as a non healthcare person). Their value is when I gave them pages of data, they could summarize and categorize and group them, then once in a while, suggested inferences, which amazed me. Save me lots of time when the datasets were complex. Gemini is better because it is capable of real time search whereas chatGPT stored data in its memory and searches from there, often in cancer research is outdated.

You have to trust but verify because lots of time the answers were inaccurate.

You don't even need A.I. when central bankers will give you an 8 second head start with news announcements for a modest £5,000. I think J Powell has integrity but on our side of the pond centuries of 'integrity' have been flushed away.

Yes. AI and a supercomputer can beat the market but only for a short while.
Then a better AI and supercomputer beat it but only for a short while.
Then an even better AI and supercomputer beat it but only for a short while.
Then an even better AI and supercomputer beat it but only for a short while.
Then an even better AI and supercomputer beat it but only for a short while etc

Then 8 Qbit quantum computers beat them,
Then 16Qbit quantum etc............

I hope you guys are aware that humans, currently, are smarter than the most updated AI now right?
Good Morning Reactive Analytics,

I agree.

Worrying about AND building AI trading systems is a complete waste of time, energy, and effort. I never seen an AI trading system that makes a lot of money every month, year after year and its a waste of time searching for such a dream.

I wasted a lot of time building trading systems. Not worth the effort.

Manual clicking is FAR easier and less complicated and more profitable and far more rewarding.

Not wasting my time on no damn AI trading systems.

That AI stuff isn't nothing but a scam, just like Bitcoin. A distraction.

Good Morning vanzandt,

For get these people. They are all useless for me. And I do not care about their trading performance. My trading performance is and will be better.

They not putting money in my pocket.

I am far better trader then them.

You do not know what these folks did behind the scenes to make all that money. They was probably lying, scamming, cheating, bribing, ALL kinds of stuff.

Why even think about or research them? They not going to give you no secret.
