Lay off the kool-aid brah. We are not about to exit either front in the necessary and acceptable war nor should we, that is just not going to happen. The "stimulus" is Bush's worst offense against the nation by far, and Obama continuing this type of insanity will fuck us badly in the long term. This is not a matter of opinion but of fact. His attacking the deficit is a flat out lie, as there is no evidence of anything said or done to believe this .
Obama is not governing from the middle, he was way out in radical utopia commie land until Brown won in MA. his moving TOWARDS the center does not put him in the middle. As for the insurance thing all I can say is I am not BLAMING anyone for failing to overcome the very companies that CREATED the industry, and relish in their failure to assume further control of the private sector, which sustains their (the govt's) parisitic existence.
By the way I am far from religious, maybe anti-religious, so quit equating conservatives with Christianity. Also, your post seems disingenuine to me. You voted for Obama who at the time was anything but moderate (during his campaign), yet now you are pretending as if you thought he woulld govern from the middle all along? Please let me know why you thought this, and please let me know which of Obama's campaign promises have been fulfilled.
Right, obama is a disaster and that view is not dependent upon religious belief, all one needs to come to that conclusion is just common sense.

Christian fundamentalists might be fucked up with the earth being 6000 years old and what not, but they are not as DANGEROUS as radical muslims willing to blow themselves up and indiscriminently take out anything in the blast radius, that should be self-evident. Also, are you are suggesting that our own military is more dangerous than radical muslims? WTF the military is necessary, and our soldiers should be our top priority as far as govt spending is concerned, this should also be obvious.
The second paragraph is even worse. You are saying Capitalism should magically make the transaction for oil happen? In order for Capitalism to work all parties involved MUST BE Capitalist, surely u can see the blatent flaws in your logic.
Finally, I think your last paragraph is flat-out dishonest. I can't remember ever hearing BO say anything about nuclear power until recently, so that COULD NOT have been a reason for your to vote for him. He is one of the fools that was all for "green energy" whatever that is. Solar and wind power will NEVER fully replace fossil fuels, so I agree that nuclear is the way to go. However instead of making an 8bil grant (increasing govt spending) he should cut funding for solar and wind. and transfer it to the fission plants, or R&D for fusion reactors.

I voted for Obama because I was HOPING he could move our country to the 'left'.
I want nationalized health care,
I want us to withdraw from Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, Chile, Columbia, Saudi Arabia, S. Korea, Panama, Germany, G. Britan, on & on, etc., etc.
I want the federal gov't to support stem cell research.
I want a Constitutional Admendment protecting abortion rights. I want young girls to be taught about and provided with birth contol.
I want us to cut our offense spending by 200 billion (still making the US the largest spender). I want us to stop exporting arms.
I want the federal gov't to trump States Rights.
I want same-sex marriage to be the rule of the land.
I want evolution to be taught in schools.
I do not want prayer (of any superstition) practiced in our courts, Congress, Supreme Court, schoolyard, or athletic fields.
I want the death penalty abolished.
I want people to have the right to smoke and grow marijuana whether it be for medicinal or recreational use.
I want the tax rates of the wealthy raised including the elimination of the capital gains tax rate.
I want the gov't to stop all forms of air, water, and soil pollution even if it means shutting down the producer.
In short, there are many things that I WANT and that Obama would support. However, he does what he can do. I'm not happy with everything that Obama is doing; he isn't either. Whatever shortcomings he has you can be damn sure that the Republicans aren't going to offer me anything better.

It's interesting that when I ask you a straightforward question about whether Bush/Cheney lied which cost the nation billions of dollars and thousands of lives, you can't give me a straight answer. But when it comes to Obama, you astutely pick up contradictions b/w speeches that he made about ACORN. The Bible has a term for such kind of behavior, its called hypocrisy.
