Calls to cancel Jim "Gym" Jordan rise

In my opinions:

Yes. @gwb-trading demands that free speech should only be what he deems is appropriate. He demands that protests should only be of a form, and in a manner, that he deems appropriate.

He's sick, actually.

He latches on to his personal beliefs, and believes everyone else should follow suit; or he'll go bonkers, and go on a full-tilt campaign to cancel whatever and whoever disagrees.

He's hypocritical like that.

There is no freewill with @gwb-trading ; it's either his will ... or he'll try to cancel you.

He won't discuss the merits of the cancellations; he just doesn't like that fact that a group of people sought to cancel something, without him giving the OK first. Free speech be damn to him. Freedom for a company to do what it decides to do ... also be damned with him. It should only be done in a manner he suggests.

He won't address the questions as to whether kids should have free access to those Dr. Seuss books that were canceled, for one example; he just, for some reason, doesn't approve of the fact that free speech convinced a company to decide to cancel their own product. He's livid behind the whole thing. Just look at him post so many cartoons about the mythical 'Cancel Culture!'

He's narcissistic like that.

Get well soon Bruh!

Good luck with your delusional fantasies.

You need to learn the difference between "Cancel Culture" and actions being taken by the judicial system or employers for cause.

Here's what you need to learn: Employers get to decide when they take action. Even if you don't think it's for cause.

Actually most companies have written HR guidelines about when they take employee termination or disciplinary action. They do this to manage within the law and to avoid being sued for unjust dismal.

Name someone that was canceled in violation of the law.

as long as the govt stays out it... (but this is no longer the case)

as far as I am concerned people and companies may cancel all they wish and those who don't like what is going on may boycott.

But we have a major problem in that the media, social media, some big tech and now some other big companies are working in concert with the govt.

This is unacceptable.

We are on the road to a Rollerball future.

Soon the companies will have more power than the govt and that will not be good for any non billionaires or their celebrities and politicians.

They may be on your team now... but in the next generation you will be kicked off the team if you are not the elite.

Don't kid yourselves. These people pulling the levers right now are smarter and more powerful than you. If you are not getting invited to have lunch with Buffett and his friends... you will eventually be out.
