Call Out Your Potential Option Trade and Let's Discuss it

Here's an interesting one. SRPT, there has been a huge buyer of the Sept 2 12 puts. Paying .15 (and some at .20.) The stock is at 27 with rumors of a drug news coming soon.

So, sell 2 12 puts for .15, buy 1 Sept 2 20 puts for .35. You have only a .05 debit in this and are safe down to 4 on the stock. Very cheap way to play a big downside.

You could also sell a few more 12 puts so you have no debit, or you could buy some higher strike puts so you have more opportunity to make money, say the 24 puts and sell the 12 puts 1x3.

But the "safeness" would be that you would be fine owning the underlying.

Closed out my TSN puts, for about a 80% return. Bought at .55 sold at .93. They expire next week. I could be missing out on a 200% gain, or a 0% gain. I will take my 80%

Here is an nice spread for you all. Buy Lnkd Jan 195 calls, sell Lnkd Dec 195 calls. I was putting the spread on today for .06 and .07. Basically buying the offer selling the bid.

Lnkd is being taken over at 196 by Microsoft, but is now trading at 190.70. Some concerns on EU approval. No exact date yet but last quarter of this year was mentioned.

Very low risk play. You wont make millions on this, but definitely some opportunity and a fun spread to trade as well.
