Call It As I see It... Palin Won!

I step out for a few hours and come back to see about 7 pages of response, LOL!

What was posted as a joke with a point, obviously has grated on the nerves of my Democratic friends.

Darn-it! Truth hurts sometimes.

Guess I should have said I received that in my e-mail box, but that would have taken away the excuses that I was a liar so disregard the whole subject.

Hahahahahah

The left would love nothing more to show they are increasing welfare and entitlements at the expense of the working population, to ensure the votes at the polls of those who receive their handouts.

Again, when society learns they can vote them selves a payraise from the national treasury, democracy fails and socialism abounds.

You all are promoting a welfare state and a population that can't exist without suckling off the government tit.

Debate that one for a few pages

Yes it's a copy and paste, it was too good not to pass up.

While the story is borrowed it doesn't stop that fact that the truth behind the story is correct. And that is what pisses you off so much.

Loser.

speak about yourself.

the only thing "true" about that story is the homeless cunt was a republicunt

just like the entire sate of Michigan

when you low life mofos begin to starve, you sure don't think twice about the govt. giving you free handouts.

we'll see how soon the cunts in Ohio turn from republicunt to dimocrat.

btw, you're all the same.

the dim's are only better educated than the average low life republicunt retard.

I've never seen you post anything really outrageous here and I assume you're fairly rational. Please, are you seriously asking us to credit the notion that George W. Bush is some kind of intellectual?

If you don't think that a scion of wealth and power like GWB could get an almost-free pass through an undergrad degree, you're basically admitting that your own path didn't lead you through the post-secondary school system and that you don't have the experience necessary to make this comment. I saw it many times during my academic career.

In no manner am I equating University degree's with becoming an intellectual. All I am saying is that you need to respect the same degrees Bush received is no different then the degrees Obama got. To think that Harvard coddles students based on wealth is insane. It is an irrational conclusion used only to justify your premise. This is why Obama is no smarter then Bush, except he is a smooth talker and most of the public mistaken that with intelligence. Same reason so many people follow some selfish evangelist preacher .

John McCain graduated 894th out of his class of 899 at the Naval Academy in 1958.

Kind of false lead here. Some of the biggest idiots I know have degrees. Some of them multiple. At the same time some of our most wealthy and successful peoples have no degrees at all. And the last time I checked, we don't do national testing for either common sense or comprehension. :)

That statement does nothing to nullify the implication of McCain's rank within his graduating class.

People who invest heavily in their brains through indoctrinated education do not exactly sway easily in their beliefs - however wrong they might be proven to be.

I though this thread was about who won the debate and why?!

Who determines what indoctrination is? And what if those who make that call are indoctrinated? It would seem to me that anyone who comes away with an opinion similar to that of the educator could be considered indoctrinated in that educator's views.

To determine if another’s belief is right or wrong requires a viewpoint that may be arrived at through indoctrination. When a belief is challenged by science, we can look at history to see that science is proven wrong by newer science and continually revised in it's evolution. This is also true for the unfolding of events that may or may not confirm a belief. One’s view of the rightness or wrongness of another’s belief is relative to one's own indoctrination, by education or experience. I believe people are most likely swayed in their beliefs by their own experiences once indoctrinated. History has proven that time and again.
